Intended Topics

As all of you probably know of my topics already because i talk all the time in class. I apologize for that. As of my topics i intend to do self identity and concept of life. The reason i feel like doing these topics is due to the fact that i really felt that i got the most understanding in viewing these stories with the topics i chose. Alice and Wonderland and the Alchemist i feel share many of the same similarities and define both of the same topics that i want to write my paper on. Self identity was one of the topics that i chose and during the journey of each main character in each book they both discover each others self identity through the challenges and obstacles they faced. The reason why i chose concept of life was because each main character realized during their journey that it was the different things in life that made them happy other than other materials as if money and other materials life that. Those are my two topics and i feel i have plenty of evidence to back them up and is looking forward to writing my paper explaining my ideas. Bwalks signing out

The Alchemist

The Alchemist is finally starting to make sense to me. Im finally understanding the meaning of what an Alchemist is and what it represents. The Alchemist is a person who understands the universal language of the world and the soul of the world. Im starting to notice a couple different things that i have taken from this book. Santiago is finally starting to realize what his personal legend is and is starting to discover his treasure. Life is starting to make sense finally and everything everyone has told him is starting to make sense. Its interesting to me about the omens whether there good or bad and how to decipher the omens. Another thing im noticing is if the treasure that he is looking for really is what he thinks it is. I think hes going to realize soon the treasure that he is looking for is not a big pot of gold but some other object with the example to as a women. I started to realize what ryan said when he told us he doesn't want to tell us anything farther because it gives almost all the answers in the book when you read further. The book is starting to get more interesting and its all starting to come together i think the book is getting pretty good and i'm looking forward to what the ending has in store. Bwalks signing out.
